FPT is your one-stop shop to start up your production with the FSW technology: a well-organised structure with technical departments, laboratories, a metrological room and everything you need to be supported through the definition of your project. In short time frames, because every step of the process is carried out in-house.

The Fixed Pin features a single-block morphology, in which the shoulder and pin are obtained from a single tool.

The Retractable Pin tool is a highly flexible solution, that suits all types of welding pathways.
The Retractable Pin not only makes it possible to weld closed pathways, without leaving an exit hole at the end of the weld, but it is also suitable for welding pieces that have variable edge thickness.

Bobbin Tool
The Bobbin Tool is suitable for open linear pathways and makes it possible to weld medium/high thickness.
Thanks to the presence of the counter shoulder, the forces involved in the process are balanced and therefore application is ideal in cases where very extensive welds must be made on thick edges.
This generally makes it possible to simplify the clamping equipment, as it is only required to keep the edges in contact.
